Liberty Hall (Formerly Walter Sickert Hall), is our latest project in the London area. The residence is scheduled to be refurbished in summer 2009 to a high specification and provide students with excellent quality, city centre accommodation in a highly secure and comfortable environment.
The residence
Liberty Hall is in close proximity to the city's higher educational establishments including City University, located on City Road, the residence is situated in the heart of the cosmopolitan area of Clerkenwell and round the corner from the trendy area of Islington. Liberty Hall is within easy reach of all local amenities and transport links, including Angel, Barbican and Old Street tube stations. Liberty Hall's close proximity to the city centre allows residents to participate fully in the city's diverse culture and exciting social scene.
Bedroom facilities
Liberty Hall offers 228 single en-suite study bedrooms, 6 studio apartments and 3 cluster flats each with 2 bedrooms; all single en-suite study bedroomss and studio apartments are fully fitted to a high standard and include an en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin plus separate telephone and data points for high-speed Internet access. Single study bedrooms share a fully fitted kitchen and spacious living area - studio apartments are self-contained with a fully fitted kitchen and spacious living/study area.
The residence provides 2 purpose-built rooms designed for residents with disabilities.
On-site facilities
Liberty Hall is fully staffed with an on-site management and maintenance team. We provide 24-hour security for our residents including a comprehensive CCTV system monitoring the site, electronic entry systems to get in and out of the residence plus a manned reception area 24-hours a day for maximum security. The residence also provides on-site laundry facilities.
Liberty Hall's newly refurbished accommodation maximizes security and quality of living by including state of the art amenities in an independent environment.
