Important note: If the student / tenant pays the £200 Booking Fee but does not sign and return a copy of the AST or guarantee where required, £100 of the Booking Fee will still be retained to cover administrative costs.

  1. Booking Fee / Deposit: £200 (payable on booking)
  2. Cancellation Policy
    1. The services under your booking agreement with us commence immediately so we will retain £100 of the Booking Fee to cover our costs if you cancel your booking.
    2. You can only cancel the Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement (AST) and therefore your booking where:
    1. this is your first year of study as an undergraduate and you provide evidence to us by e-mail or in writing no later than 21 August 2014 that you have not been accepted by the University of your choice (for example by not achieving the required A level results) and wish to cancel your booking; or
    2. you find a replacement tenant, acceptable to Liberty Living, who wishes to replace you as occupier of your Room and enter into an AST with Liberty Living on terms equal to the AST entered into by you;
    3. you choose to cancel for any other reason in which case; you may only do so if you contact our management team within 14 days of making your booking (but in all cases with a cut off date of 21 August 2014).
  3. If you do cancel in one of the valid ways set out above:
    1. £100 of your Booking Fee / Deposit will be retained by us as explained above but the remaining £100 of your Booking Fee / Deposit will be refunded to you;
    2. you will not be required to make any future payments; and
    3. we may re-allocate your Room.
  4. Single Payment attracts a 2% discount on the total rent payable.
  5. Cost per week: (see above).

Academic Year 2014-15
