Looking good with Liberty Living

As you may know, I am now studying at Southampton Solent University! I have gained so much experience already including the opportunity to be a part of the wonderful team at Liberty Living, who offer student accommodation across the UK. As a matter of fact, I am currently living in one of their residences, Liberty Quays, Southampton – it’s so exciting! I have been welcomed into Liberty Living by so many people that I have already met. Which pretty much started when I was asked to take part in a test photo shoot, at Liberty Dock, which is one of their student residences in Leeds.

I was chuffed to bits when I got an email asking me if I wanted to take part and to also bring a friend, which I did and we both loved it! The day was filled with meeting new people from different backgrounds and careers even though they were a part of the Liberty Living team. It was so interesting to speak and work with new people, I love being in that type of work environment and could see myself getting into that kind of career, meeting new people every day and going to different places.

We had a fantastic day at the photo shoot. There were four of us and in the morning we were a bit shy as we were only starting to get to know each other, but by the end of the day I felt that we really had met two different sets of great people which was really nice to realise.

A couple of days later, I received another email asking if I wanted to go and take part in the actual photo shoot at Liberty Dock in Leeds and also at Liberty Park which is on the other side of Leeds. I was delighted with the invite and just had to take part because I knew I was in for another 2 good days meeting new people and trying to help the Liberty Living team. We decided to venture out into Leeds to take some shots in the city centre and we did have a good laugh. I have to add that I found my first 4 leaf clover and had my first ever Pitta Pit which we found out was the only one in the country, so that was cool.

Overall, I would recommend staying with Liberty Living, as I now am, as it has opened so many doors for me and it has given me the opportunity to get involved with the actual company too and not just living in the residence. There are all different kind of ways you can get involved too (not just posing in front of a camera), if you’re not in to that kind of thing. Have a think about it guys, and hopefully I will see you as part of the warm and welcoming Liberty Living team!

If you would like to take part in a photo shoot and become a face of Liberty Living, you can apply at your local residence reception or email enquiries@libertyliving.co.uk.
