Staying on with Liberty Living for my third year
My flatmates and I are going to be staying with Liberty Living for the third year running. I am very excited to be staying on campus again and to have my own shower, which in my opinion is the best thing!
My student accommodation at Liberty Park really does feel like home to me, everything is on hand, and if the rooms are a bit chilly, the radiators are always on standby. However, I am a jumper man myself but I know many students love the idea of having their own radiator.
Also, EVERYTHING IS ON YOUR DOOR STEP!
My university classrooms are two minutes away, and I know people who have to get up very early because they either have to walk to lessons because the bus does not go their way or they live too far away and unfortunately can’t take the bus…. Luckily, that is no problem for me. I can roll out of bed fifteen minutes before a lecture and still make it in time. Not that I am that way inclined but there are some… no names mentioned!
I can see the library from my window! It does not matter how late I stay, as I do not have far to travel back to my bedroom, as it is seconds away. This may sound dull, but once you settle into university life, it is later when you realise and appreciate how handy living on campus really is.
The staff are always on hand to help! If anything happens, for example, if something is not working, the problem is dealt with immediately. Safety is another important aspect and I feel extremely safe staying with Liberty Living! I would slightly worry about living in a house, whereas on campus, the staff are there throughout the day and in the evening security is there. You need a key fob to get in and out of the building, which only campus residents get. Therefore, not just anybody can walk in, which makes me feel safe and secure.
I am blessed to be living with people I love! Next year we will have been living together for three years, and it would not feel right if we all left and went our separate ways. The friendships you create within the flat are so important, and I got the lucky straw!
I am happy to be spending my third year on campus! I have to admit, I will be sad to leave Liberty Park when my degree comes to an end.
