There’s an assumption among some students that, after first year, its time to move out of student accommodation or ‘halls’ and move into a shared house.

But what if you’re happy where you are?

We travelled to Liberty Atlantic Point in Liverpool to meet Owen: a second-year student at Liverpool John Moores University who has decided to stay on at his private halls.

Before he headed off for the day, Owen gave us a quick tour of his room and shared flat and told us why he felt living in student accommodation for another year was the right choice for him.
