Liberty Atlantic Point does it again at the Liverpool Students’ Union ‘Rate your landlord’ awards 2012

It has been announced that student residence Liberty Atlantic Point, operated by Liberty Living, has been ranked as the number one for ‘Student satisfaction’ and ‘Student recommendation’ in Liverpool for the second ‘Rate your landlord’ survey carried out by Liverpool Students’ Union for 2012.

The survey attracted responses from thousands of students at the University of Liverpool, Liverpool Hope University and Liverpool John Moores University. The survey contained a number of different questions asking students about their experience in the student rental market.

Liberty Living is one of the UK’s largest providers of student housing, working with over 30 university partners in 17 cities, and has operated Liberty Atlantic Point for six years. The company also won ‘Best private halls provider’ and ‘Best moving in experience’ in the National Student Housing Surveys for 2010 and 2011 – accolades again voted for by students directly.

Neil Ellis, Regional Operations Manager for Liverpool at Liberty Living, comments: “Following Liberty Atlantic Point’s success in the awards last year we are delighted to achieve further success. This year’s awards highlight the consistent levels of service and quality that the residence continues to deliver. We run Liberty Atlantic Point in order to satisfy student needs and the team are delighted again that Liberty Living’s brand standards have been recognised: passion for service – commitment to excellence – respect for people.”

This was the second year of the ‘Rate your landlord’ survey. James McGarvey, Vice President of Community Engagement at Liverpool Students’ Union adds: “As the Students’ Union, we pride ourselves on offering the best service and support for our members. ‘Rate your landlord’ is just one way of providing students with detailed information on where they’ll live for the academic year. Students want to know that the service, quality and experience that they receive in their accommodation is the best that it can be.”

The survey also highlighted that 91% of student residents would recommend Liberty Atlantic Point to a friend. A Liberty Atlantic Point student commented “There is nothing like a peaceful home when you come back stressed from university and that is exactly what Liberty Atlantic Point provides me – a home.”

Liberty Atlantic Point offers 923 beds arranged in 4- and 6-bed flats and is one of the largest dedicated student residences in the city. Like all Liberty Living student accommodation it aims to provide good quality core provision for university undergraduates and graduates, as well as accommodation open to all for summer occupancy.
