Liberty Living staff run British 10K to raise money for charity

On Sunday 15th July, 10 members of Liberty Living staff ran the British 10K to raise money for three different charities: Young Enterprise, Caudwell Children and Cancer Research UK

Beibei Wang (Revenue Accountant) kicked off the fundraising activities by organising a 'mocktails' event for Head Office staff earlier this month, which provided a welcome relief from the mid-afternoon heat.

On the day of the race, the group wound their way through Central London, passing Embankment, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey. For many of the team, it was their first time participating in a race, not to mention during a heatwave. Temperatures topped 30 degrees, but all of our brave racers completed the full circuit. Congratulations all!

Three racers

We're still accepting donations via our Virgin Money Giving page and are hopeful that we'll reach our target of £2,000, which will be distributed between the three charities.
