Liberty Works in Sheffield wins a top student accommodation award at the 2016 National Student Housing Survey
Liberty Living’s student housing in Sheffield, Liberty Works, has been crowned ‘Best Individual Accommodation’ in the 2016 National Student Housing Survey (NSHS) Awards – which is a fantastic achievement as Liberty Works was shortlisted for the same award in 2014!
Tom Vickers, General Manager at Liberty Works, Sheffield said: “The whole team in Sheffield are delighted to have achieved this award. Without the hard work and dedication of each member of the team, this would not have been possible. Having come so close in 2014, it is great that we have managed to secure the award this year.
This award underlines our commitment to providing the high standards we set ourselves and to ensure that our students have a great place live year in, year out. We will continue to listen to our residents to support them as much as we can and look forward to defending our title next year!”
Liberty Living’s student accommodation has also been recognised for providing outstanding customer service to its students in 4 other categories at the 2016 NSHS Awards:
International Student Quality Mark – awarded to Liberty Living as only one of 10 private accommodation providers or universities
Best Private Halls Provider
Best Learning Environment – Liberty Court Preston
Best Student Broadband
Gary Nathan, Regional Operations Manager commented: “As the Regional Operations Manager (East) for Liberty Living and managing Sheffield, I’m extremely pleased that Tom Vickers (General Manager) and his team at Liberty Works have been awarded ‘Best Individual Accommodation’ by the NSHS.
Tom and his team along with our partners, Sheffield Hallam University, work extremely hard to ensure that our residents feel at home when they first move away from their family and friends. Kirsty Williams (Assistant Manager) was tasked to build a great student experience at Liberty Works and we are now seeing the results of a great team effort. I’d like to say well done to Tom, Kirsty, Gemma, Susan, Stella, Steve, Paul and Ray in receiving this award, voted for by your students.”
This year’s NSHS saw 33,000 students studying across 200 UK universities and colleges participate in the survey.
Congratulations once again to Liberty Works in Sheffield for all the team’s hard work in winning this fantastic award.
