Liberty Living’s student accommodation has been recognised for providing outstanding service to its students in 5 separate categories at the 2016 National Student Housing Survey Awards (NSHS):

Best Individual Accommodation – Liberty Works Sheffield
International Student Quality Mark – awarded to Liberty Living as only one of 10 private accommodation providers or universities

Best Private Halls Provider
Best Learning Environment – Liberty Court Preston
Best Student Broadband

We’d like to thank all of our wonderful students who voted in the survey, we want to make your student experience the best that it can be and you’ve told us what that means to you.

Congratulations to both Liberty Court in Preston for being shortlisted as ‘Best Learning Environment’ and to Liberty Works in Sheffield who took home a winning prize for ‘Best Individual Accommodation’ – a fantastic achievement!

A huge thank you also to our amazing staff for your continued hard work and dedication, and for serving our students to a very high standard, day in, day out – we’re very proud of you all.

In noting these awards, Charles Marshall, Chief Executive Officer said: “Liberty Living has again been well represented in awards made through the NSHS. We are most gratified that Liberty Works, Sheffield has been considered within the 'Best Individual Accommodation' category, showing that our standards, which are universal to our portfolio, receive tangible recognition from our customers.

Likewise, we were shortlisted for other recognition in the Best Private Halls Provider, Best Student Broadband and the Best Learning Environment categories. We believe that the these accolades validate our aspiration to provide a quality living experience in every city that we operate in and we are proud to have recently won awards by the vote of those who really know our product and service.

As consistently in past years, Liberty Living was awarded the International Accommodation Quality Mark for those organisations that score over 90% from international students.

As in past years, students in Liverpool voted for Liberty Living’s overall service quality with Liberty Atlantic Point winning ‘Halls of Residence Silver Award’ in the Rate Your Landlord survey, whilst Liberty Prospect Point won 'Halls of Residence Bronze Award’ and UCLAN students in Preston recognised Liberty Living’s Student Experience delivery for its quality and benefits to student life.

I would like to offer my congratulations to Regional Operations Manager – Gary Nathan and General Manager – Tom Vickers and their wonderful team at Liberty Works for an award winning performance.”

The National Student Housing Survey is an independent survey of students’ experiences and measures the satisfaction levels in all types of student accommodation across the UK. The 2016 NSHS attracted over 33,000 responses compared to 22,000 the previous year and 19,000 in 2014.
