Located on Queen's Road, the residence is within easy reach of all local amenities and transport links to CU Coventry, plus it's only a 6-8 minute walk to the bus stop for University of Warwick, too.

The residence is on Sky Blue Way which is super close to the heart of the city centre and Coventry University, so you’ll be in easy reach of everything. Liberty Point makes it easy to access all of the exciting and diverse hotspots that Coventry has to offer.
Your time with Liberty Point will be spent independently, but your new home will always have someone for you to turn to if you need to. Security is 24/7 and included in the price of your rent, alongside all of your bills.
Coventry for students
Coventry has thrived throughout history and today is no different. There has been a new lease of life injected into this Midlands city in recent years, which makes it an awesome place for students. With modern additions like public squares and gardens, teamed with cosmopolitan bars and cafés, Coventry is on form to compete with some of the bigger cities around the UK.
The city hosts a relatively modest but growing student population across two universities – Coventry University and the University of Warwick – and you’ll also find CU Coventry and Coventry College as well.
The students and locals get along brilliantly, and since our student accommodation in Coventry welcomes people from all over, you’re bound to make an exciting mix of new friends. Coventry students can enjoy a thoroughly modern city centre, alongside excellent facilities at the universities themselves. Basically, there’s loads to do, so you’ll never get bored.
Coventry has lots of tasty treats for you to try, so you’ll never be stuck for options. Asian food goes down a storm in the city thanks to a multicultural population; including Chinese, Vietnamese, Lebanese, Nepalese, Persian, Bangladeshi and Thai – plus the range of Indian food in particular is some of the best of the best.
Many of the big-chain takeaways can be found in West Orchards shopping centre, which is ideal for popping into for a spot of lunch. There are also plenty of shops to enjoy with many renowned high-street brands on offer, all conveniently located just a short distance from our Coventry student accommodation.
You’ll also find pubs on every corner dishing up delicious old favourites in between your lectures. In general, you’ll find loads of restaurants to suit every taste, with practically every cuisine catered to. You name it, you’ve got it!
Things to do
When it comes to retail, you’ve got your high street shops in the West Orchards and Lower Precinct shopping centres. There’s also a traditional indoor market, specialist shops and even a city centre IKEA store. All rooms in our Coventry student housing come fully furnished, but it’s always fun to have a walk around!
Love an exciting night out? Coventry has plenty of options! You can go to a bar, club or good old-fashioned pub any night of the week.
The city of Coventry also has an exciting array of sports to check out. It has its very own basketball team, the Coventry Crusaders, and a popular ice-hockey team called Coventry Blaze. Coventry Rugby Club has an impressive new ground at the Butts Arena, and it’s well worth a visit for fans.

Arts & culture
Coventry is a city full of culture, and has won the title of City of Culture 20/21. The Belgrade Theatre is an amazing place to watch musicals, panto and more, while Warwick Arts Centre hosts loads of different exciting performances – from music, to dance and even opera. It also doubles as an art gallery!
There are plenty of museums across Coventry so that you can build your knowledge outside of class, and Coventry Cathedral is both beautiful and majestic.
You’ll be pleased to know Coventry is on many bands’ touring schedules, and there are plenty of places to go and see all kinds of live music. Ricoh Arena is huge and well-equipped for all your big-name artists and DJs, and the Kasbah is an impressive venue with a large capacity, but it’s still intimate enough to get up close and personal at the front.
Health & wellbeing
In the warmer weather you should make use of Coventry’s outdoor spaces, like the lovely War Memorial Park, where you’re sure to enjoy some fun, games and even festivals. The good news is that if you’re trying to save money or keep fit, the area is also really good for cycling and walking at any time of year.
We have got the UK’s newest indoor waterpark, The Wave, which has a spa, 24 metre pool dedicated with lines, Squash Courts, Fitness Suite. The universities have similarly impressive facilities to try out, with lots of sporting societies that you can join if you’re keen to join a team or try something new.
Finally, there are plenty of cheap and cheerful gyms located throughout Coventry, so you can get fit whenever and however you like.
Coventry is an accessible place with a reliable and easy-to-use bus service. You can use the buses to travel throughout the city and to and from the University of Warwick campus, which isn’t too far away. There are special student rates available to help you save your money!
Of course, with Birmingham on your doorstep, you’re also well connected by train. Birmingham is just 20 minutes away, and London takes just over an hour to get to. Birmingham also has the aptly named Birmingham Airport for you to make full use of, whether you're visiting family and friends or off on an adventure.
