Keele University accommodation

Keele University's student body may well be small at just under 10,000 – but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in student experience. In fact, the University has been voted number one for student satisfaction. When you stay at our student accommodation in Stoke you’ll have everything you need to get on the path to success.

  1. General information

Keele University's student body may well be small at just under 10,000 – but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in student experience. In fact, the University has been voted number one for student satisfaction.

The University calls itself one of the UK’s ‘best kept secrets’ when it comes to higher education, and we’d be inclined to agree. Keele is literally at the heart of the country in Staffordshire, meaning it’s accessible from here, there and everywhere. You’re close enough to the bigger cities when you need them, but you’ve the time to breathe to really develop and grow as you study.

Students can study academic or vocational subjects across around 500 Joint Honours combinations. There are also plenty of prestigious courses such as Medicine and Law which can be taken as Single Honours. When students leave, they often have some of the highest employability rates around.

Keele University is proud of the fact that it offers world-leading research almost across the board. The University has been around since the late 40’s, but whilst it’s a relatively young institution, it still offers expertise and experience in all aspects of its teaching.

Students have the opportunity to study abroad with almost every degree on offer at Keele; and in turn, the University also accepts students from many different countries – over 90 in total.

To have a stimulating University experience, it helps to have a study bedroom kitted out in the right way to help you knuckle down. When you stay at our Keele University accommodation, you’ll have everything you need to get on the path to success.

  2. The campus

Keele University is an original campus University and is home to a small but diverse close-knit community of students. In addition to the main campus, Keele also has a custom-built campus at the nearby Royal Stoke University Hospital, including everything you would need to excel in a medical or science related degree.

The main campus itself is absolutely stunning, with loads of leafy woodland areas as well as picturesque lakes. Despite its quiet beauty, you’ll never be bored in Keele, because there’s always something to do. There are restaurants, cafes, shops plus places to do your errands, as well as medical and dental care facilities right on campus.

The Student Union at Keele is also plenty of fun. There’s entertainment every night of the week and it’s a great place to catch some of the UK's top bands on their national tours. The SU is also a great place to unwind, receive advice, or to make friends.

If sport is your scene, there are extensive sports fields, tennis courts and indoor sports facilities, so you can do anything from your standard cardio workout right through to climbing on a purpose built climbing wall. There are classes, teams and societies which you are more than welcome to join.

There’s also an art gallery, a ceramic collection, and a gorgeous arboretum – which is basically just a fancy word for lots of pretty trees. Keele boasts one of the largest collections of flowering cherry trees in the country!

More than 100,000 visitors, guests and delegates enjoy the campus throughout the year thanks to the fact that Keele’s campus is one of the most respected academic venues in the UK.

Our Keele University accommodation is close to everything this beautiful campus has to offer and so you’ll be right on the doorstep of anything you want to be involved in.

  3. Undergraduate study

Moving to University is a big step, but Keele aims to make the upheaval more than worth it.

There are so many different courses that you can choose to study there, including literally hundreds of combinations for Joint Honours degrees across a multitude of fields. There’s an element of flexibility offered to everyone, and a great deal of choice. Keele provides excellent opportunities for you to gain the skills employers are really looking for, whilst developing your academic knowledge at the same time.

Our Keele University accommodation is perfect for undergraduates. Your room has everything you could possibly need to create the optimum atmosphere for studying, and you’ll be surrounded by plenty of other students who may well become friends for life.

  4. Postgraduate study

If you’ve got a thirst for knowledge, a postgraduate degree may well be the next step you need to take in your academic journey.

The University has around 2,300 postgraduate students and each is catered to and supported according to their individual needs.

With a wide variety of research opportunities to choose from, Keele University is an increasingly popular choice and it’s most likely due to the fact that they’re so valued in the community. Postgraduate students will benefit immensely from the further learning they will be offered here, in addition to the help they’ll receive transitioning into employment in the career of their choosing.

Our Keele University accommodation is a home from home for many of the University’s close community of postgrads. Our very own Liberty Living community reflects this ethos perfectly and you’ll be surrounded by other people at a similar stage in life.
